A Client who refuses to accept HR Brand Selling

I worked with an organisation who had a work culture which was very toxic, and their senior leadership was in a total state of denial and believed that toxicity removes itself, even though all their talent had or was in the process of departing, and no real talent is joining them. Their HR Brand Selling was basically zero, the talent didn’t want to stay and no talent wanted to join.

"The vast majority of my clients who take on board my findings, find themselves in strong positions, where they are attracting the talent and retaining their current talent, saving them time and money"

The senior leadership believed that the problem was their employees, it turned out from my findings that it was their leadership team that answered to them. I made my urgent recommendations and how I could help and support them as soon as possible, but the senior leadership did not want to confront this problem and chose to bury their heads in the sand. My services were terminated, and less than two years later, my ex-client was haemorrhaging money, resulting in the closure of their total operations and the loss of their best products and intellectual property (IP) to one of their main competitors.

The sad thing is that it could have all been avoided, my recommendations, help and support, would have saved them and made them millions as well. However, the competitor ended up making millions from their products and IP instead. The vast majority of my clients who take on board my findings, find themselves in strong positions, where they are attracting the talent and retaining their current talent, saving them time and money.

Why am I in a strong position to offer this unique concept of HR Brand Selling which is the interface of HR, Marketing and Sales to my clients? (1) I have worked in all three areas of HR, Marketing and Sales in the corporate world at the relevant senior levels in each area, (2) I have the relevant academic three Master’s degrees for each area, (3) I have the relevant professional qualifications for each area, (4) I have over 30 years of corporate experience in these areas, (5) I have over 20 years of leadership experience in the corporate world, and (6) I have no problem in asking the tough questions and giving the hard truths.
