Who is Paul Burgess the Business Specialist?

Paul is a highly qualified and experienced senior business consultant who helps business owners, CEOs, entrepreneurs, and other leaders create value for their companies. He holds a Master of Science (MSc) degree in Marketing, with a focus on organisational psychology, from the School of Management at UMIST/Manchester Business School. He also has a Bachelor of Science honours degree in Chemistry from the University of Hertfordshire (previously Hatfield Polytechnic). During his MSc studies in Marketing, Paul conducted research on organisational psychology in the international pharmaceutical industry, specifically in the relationships between British and Swedish headquarters and their respective subsidiaries in Sweden and the UK.

 

Paul has over 30 years of experience working with a variety of businesses across a range of industries, including agricultural, healthcare, non-profit, pharmaceuticals, retail, and technology. He is an expert in sales and marketing, and understands how to drive high performance and achieve success through effective marketing campaigns and the correct setting of sales parameters. Additionally, Paul is well-versed in human resources management, with a deep understanding of talent acquisition, remuneration, employee engagement, leadership development, staff wellbeing, motivation, and healthy work environments. He has recently completed his MBA and Master of Human Resources Management from Murdoch University, achieving an average distinction mark in both. He is currently undertaking his part-time Executive Doctor of Business Administration (DBA) degree at the Aston Business School (Aston University, UK), specialising in Leadership and Organisational Psychology for his doctoral thesis, while still offering great value to his clients.

Continuing business consultancy in different industries, and education & advancement. Paul completed his master’s degrees in business administration (MBA) and in human resources management (MHRM) at the Murdoch University, with average grades of distinction. The concept of ‘HR Brand Selling’ was developed by Paul.

Professional experience of the consumer healthcare, medical devices and pharmaceutical industries in Australia and New Zealand. Final role was as an education coordinator for a large multinational healthcare organisation.

Paul graduated with an upper second class honours Bachelor of Science degree in Chemistry, before working in R&D for a few years before commencing and then completing his Master of Science degree (MSc) in Marketing from the School of Management (UMIST)/ Manchester Business School, specialising in international organisational psychology. During the time of his MSc Paul had consulted for many different companies in the UK and Sweden.

He has many years of senior business consultancy experience in Australia, Europe and the UK. He has many different professional qualifications, and intends to have more fellowships in business soon. He has four degrees, of which three of them are Master’s degrees concerning the study and application of business specialisations i.e. Marketing, Business Administration and Human Resources Management. He will start his fifth degree in the near future, which will be a doctorate in business.
